I work from a home-based office in the south of Sydney and write feature articles and profiles across a very wide range of topics, including technology, business, health, science, career, education, photography, parenting, law, property and finance.

I was a founding member of Freeline (freelance journalists network) and a long-term MEAA member. I’ve worked variously as a radio, magazine, newspaper and online journalist, but got sick of wearing shoes all day.

I’ve also taught journalism at UTS, at the Australian College of Journalism and at the University of NSW and spent several years as Manager of the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism, and occasionally do corporate media training too.
