Born and raised in Aotearoa NZ, a 5th generation Kiwi, Richard Clark moved to Australia at age 21 where he explored the outback and entered the film industry, after 23 years and a ton of awards, twice voted Editor of the Year, Richard relocated to New York and became one of Americas most sort after Film Editors in the realm of Advertising, working with some of the truly great Creatives, Producers and Directors around the World. In 1990 Hollywood called and Richard moved to Venice Beach California where he lived and explored for 16 years, continuing to attract great work. In 2006, after 2 years of exploring, filming and photographing the American West, Richard returned to his homeland, restoring a run down vineyard and then returning to his creative roots.
