As owner of Hout Bay PR & Design International I have worked in many different fields, including international sports events, game reserves and conservation, golf estates, travel and tourism as well as in more mundane areas such as retail (as in trying to get a packet of crisps on the front page of the Sunday paper – and failing…), manufacture and restaurants.

I have written and designed many newsletters on behalf of clients, and currently run several blogs.

My chief claim to fame was a year spent travelling the world’s Formula One circuits as Press Liaison Officer of the then Sasol-sponsored Jordan team. That followed three weeks in the South American jungle as part of the press team for the Camel Trophy Guyana/Brzil in 1992.

Apart from English and Afrikaans I am fluent in French, German and Dutch.
